About Jimmy
Jimmy Bennett has been an Arlington resident for almost 20 years and is an active member of the Community. Jimmy is a Certified Public Accountant and has had his own practice since 1995. Prior to that, Jimmy was the Controller for the Arlington Cancer Center. Jimmy has been married to his wife Debra for the past 24 years and they have 2 daughters (Kristin and Ashley) that both graduated from Arlington Lamar High School and are currently attending college.
Jimmy is an active member of Lamar Baptist Church where he has served in the past as a deacon and on numerous committees. Jimmy is a graduate of Leadership Arlington and is active in many different community organizations.

Jimmy received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Austin, in
1984, with a major in Accounting.
