My Views Jimmy will serve the entire City of Arlington in a responsible and independent manner. Jimmy will be an advocate for all people and will be responsive to the educational entities, such as UTA and AISD. He will work diligently with the other council members and city staff to continue to support the education of our youth. He will also strive to work with the police and fire departments to help improve safety while looking for other ways to provide them with more resources. The following outlines some of Jimmy’s views and areas that he is concerned: Continue the effort to further develop, strengthen and diversify our economy Promote programs focused on Arlington’s diversity to make us a stronger City. Support and strengthen current efforts to make Arlington a Green city Focus on preserving and enhancing quality neighborhoods Promote programs to assist our youth and their families, especially those that partner with Non-Profit agencies and organizations The revitalization of downtown Arlington with UTA as a significant part of that plan As a CPA, Jimmy understands the importance of financial strength for businesses, governments and individuals. He also understands the impact of taxes on the citizens of Arlington. And he will work to see that the city funds are spent in an efficient and responsible manner. Jimmy will be an advocate for all businesses and will work to improve the ability for small businesses to thrive in our city.
